With ports and shipping being an important part of the UK’s Counter Terrorism preparedness strategy, ProtectUK has created a special curated page of advice aimed at organisations in the maritime sector looking to protect people, property and operations.
The advice page highlights NaCTSO’s popular Risk Management Toolkit and our suite of ACT e-Learning to help improve staff awareness. It also links to our public communications toolkits which port operators can use to remind visitors of the need to stay vigilant.
At the same time, NaCTSO is retiring the dedicated Portsafe reporting line and encouraging the promotion of the other well-known routes by which people can raise concerns about terrorism.
