The National Counter Terrorism Security Office’s (NaCTSO) Business Engagement Unit has been invited by the National Business Crime Centre to the UK Retail Risk Conference which takes place at the King Power Stadium, Leicester on 3rd of October. This is a great opportunity for NaCTSO and visitors to the conference to engage with a wide cohort of professionals including retail health and safety, risk managers, law enforcement personnel and academics.
Visitors attending will have the opportunity to listen and learn about the challenges those in the retail industry have experienced and are planning for in the future.
Exhibition stands
There will be a number of exhibition stands including a dedicated NaCTSO stand where visitors can meet with NaCTSO experts to talk about terrorism threats and low-cost mitigation options. Guests can also learn more about ProtectUK, ACT Awareness products and a range of other advice and guidance.
Keynote speaker events
Throughout the conference there will be a series of keynote speeches and panel discussions. Leading industry figures including Nick Kirby, Global Fraud manager at River Island and John Seddon, Senior Business Development manager for ‘People Safe’ are on the agenda amongst many others.
NaCTSO will be hosting two keynote slots.

This session will include discussions focused on practical solutions to manage the threats from terrorism and is an opportunity to discuss the benefits our guidance can have on some of the other challenges which the retail industry faces.
