The scheme is open to all Mosques and associated faith-buildings in England and Wales who have experienced hate crime at their site, or who feel that their faith community is vulnerable to hate crime. Through the scheme, Mosques can apply for measures such as CCTV, secure fencing, and intruder alarms to be installed at their site to improve security against hate crime. Mosques are also able to apply for the provision of security guarding services. All measures provided by the scheme will be supplied and installed free of charge.
We encourage you to promote the scheme to Mosques and Muslim community centres in your local area and networks who have experienced hate crime, or feel they are vulnerable to it.
