On 12th June 2023 Asad Bhatti from Redhill was sentenced to eight years in jail. This follows an investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) prompted by a report from a local business.
The public will be better protected from terrorism under new laws requiring many public venues to improve preparedness against attacks and bring in measures to help keep people safe.
